The 2024 holiday season saw the return of one of basketball’s most iconic commercials — reimagined for a new generation.

Working alongside Colormatics and PrizePicks, this modern take on the legendary “Jingle Hoops” campaign blends the nostalgia of the original NBA holiday spot with a contemporary comedic twist. Featuring an all-star lineup of cultural personalities including Druski, Joe Budden, BigXthaPlug, Spice Adams, Sketch, and Funny Marco, the production pays homage to the rhythmic, music-driven magic of the original while leaning into the unscripted humor and playful chaos of today’s creator-driven sports culture. 

Shot on location at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion, the campaign was designed as a multi-platform production, with custom edits created for national broadcast as well as social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and X. 

Rather than recreating the precision of the original NBA spot, this new interpretation embraces comedic timing — trading perfect swishes for near-misses, personality-driven performances, and a slow-motion dunk attempt by Druski that ends in an unforgettable crash landing. The result is a playful celebration of basketball culture, holiday spirit, and the shared experience of the game that resonates across generations of fans. 

In addition to the commercial campaign, PrizePicks partnered with Atlanta Parks & Recreation to donate basketball hoops, racks, and equipment to local community programs — reinforcing the campaign’s connection to the grassroots love of the sport that inspired it.
